We Care 2007 is a holiday event benefiting children in the Vancouver area. The Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House and Herman Miller organize an afternoon event during which children create gifts for their families and friends.

What makes We Care successful is the energy and creativity delivered by participating architecture and design firms. Each firm designs a craft that could be made by a 5-12 year old child and provide the materials and volunteers to staff the craft table and assist the children in making their gifts.

Penner & Associates has participated in this community event for the past fives years, which has grown to include 200 children.

As a another way to give back to the community, Penner & Associates selects a non-profit organization to donate design services to on an annual basis.
